JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and performance of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and achievement of sales goals. Oversee the workflow and supervision of Associates performing money handling and account management functions within the branch. Leads by example, creating an environment of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while building strong community connections to promote company products, services and promotions and effective handoffs for cross-company referrals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage branch activities to achieve established goals and objectives.
2. Supervise, coach and develop a high-performing branch team.
3. Cultivate an environment focused on proactive customer engagement, service excellence, and continuous learning.
4. Oversee the workflow, scheduling and staffing of associates handling financial transactions and account servicing to maintain efficient coverage during business hours.

1. Granted commercial and consumer lending authority to advise on applicable loan products, evaluate loan applications, determine creditworthiness, advise applicants on loan options, and ensure compliance with regulations.

1. Serve as location leader for performing daily personal and business account services (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, HSAs) that include opening, servicing, transaction processing and account maintenance in a timely, accurate and efficient manner per banking policy and procedures. In addition, may serve as a backup for processing daily money handling transactions and balancing cash drawers.

1. Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in banking functions by performing at or above established standards and meeting branch goals.  Possess the knowledge and judgement to research and resolve deposit account and internal operations issues, while engaging appropriate operational teams when necessary to ensure effective resolution and support for fellow Associates and departments.
2. Establish full proficiency in all customer banking tools to educate and troubleshoot digital, mobile banking, and bank card issues and inquiries.
3. Act as the primary liaison for money handling, account management and process improvement between front-line Associates and internal departments.
4. Maintain current knowledge of all money handling and account management policies and procedures, company policies and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications

 The successful candidate will be placed in the I, II, or III level that best aligns with their education, experience, and qualifications.

 To qualify for a Branch Manager I

• Three to five years of experience in bank operations or related banking functions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

To qualify for a Branch Manager II

• Five to seven years of experience in bank operations or related banking functions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

To qualify for a Branch Manager III: 

• Ten years of experience in bank operations or related banking functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field strongly preferred or required.

A qualified Branch Manager will posses the following skills and abilities:

1. Ability to assertively market bank products and services in a new market utilizing appropriate sales and marketing skills. 
2. Strong record of driving strategic growth, developing external business, and expanding customer relationships through outreach and partnerships.
3. St knowledge of mathematics including statistical and financial mathematics skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of consumer and business banking products, lending practices, regulatory requirements and a strong understanding of credit analysis, lending structures, and risk management.
5. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and lending procedures and practices.
6. General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management.
7. Demonstrated aptitude to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships.
8. Professional appearance.
9. Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).

Colorado Pay Rate: $80,000 - $117,000 salary based on experience, education and/or skill level. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, life insurance, 401k, and Paid Time Off.
