Job Description
Machine Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running efficiently in a manufacturing environment. This is an equipment maintenance role, focused on mechanical and electrical systems rather than facilities, janitorial, or property management.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues.
- Complete product changeovers as needed.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Report major repair needs and parts shortages to the lead.
- Complete maintenance documentation and paperwork.
- Work under the direction of senior maintenance staff while developing skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- General maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of PLCs, cameras, electrical systems, and heat sealing is a plus.
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
