Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an Intake Coordinator located in Laklewod NJ. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the intake process for new clients, assisting families with paperwork, verifying insurance eligibility, and coordinating scheduling. The role requires effective communication with families, clinicians, and insurance providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of client information. The Intake Coordinator will also maintain records, assist with case management, and provide an exceptional customer service experience for clients and their families.
Qualifications
- Exceptional Communication and Customer Service skills to address client inquiries and provide a supportive experience
- Proficiency in Case Management, including organizing client information and maintaining accurate records
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Insurance processes, including eligibility verification and billing procedures
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with ABA therapy, healthcare services, or autism care is a plus
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
