We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Supervise and interact with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support children's emotional regulation and conflict resolution.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and nap supervision as needed.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education through professional development opportunities.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
