Infant/Toddler Room Teacher
Bright Beginnings Childcare is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher.
The ideal candidate will have an ability to connect with children, be patient and loving, as well as have the ability to thrive in a very busy environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children of all ages is not required but preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule not including weekends, nights and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprints.
- Must be CPR/First aid certified or able to be when hired.
Responsibilities:
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other.
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Track children’s progress and report to parents through app.
- Help with daily tasks (cleaning, sanitizing etc.)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
