Required Degree: Master's degree in choral conducting required. Doctoral degree preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience: 5 years of experience conducting choral ensembles required.
Duties/Expectations:
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Leadership and student mentoring skills
- Research performance literature
- Design concert program
- Determine packet contents and administer with BYU store for student purchase
- Recruit for University Chorale
- Choir rehearsals
- Perform at University Devotionals and 1 concert per semester
- Teach Music 311R, University Chorale, sections 1 and 2, Evening School
