Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - School of Music - Musicology: 302, 601, 602 & 603 Posting End Date:  Wednesday, July 1, 2026 *NOTE: Last day to apply is Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:59pm (MST) Position Start Date: September 1, 2026 Required Degree: PhD in Musicology required. The required degree must be completed by the start date. Experience: College Level teaching experience required Duties/Expectations: This position is only for fall semester 2026 Firm commitment to the Mission and Aims of BYU Firm commitment to the Mission of the School of Music Excellent communication skills Mentoring students and consulting as needed Daytime teaching schedule including classes: Music 302 (Music of the Baroque), and one of the following: Music 601 (Medieval), Music 602 (Renaissance) or Music 603 (Baroque) Participate in meetings and other School of Music assignments as needed Documents Required at the Time of Application: Please attach the following to your faculty application: Updated Curriculum Vitae Cover Letter Two Publications or Writing Samples Mission Alignment Statement (instructions below) Note: Failure to attach the required documents may result in your application not being considered.
