As a Territory Clinical Sales Representative, you'll work alongside an experienced sales team to support surgeons and hospital staff throughout the entire customer experience—from clinical case coverage to inventory management and business development. Position Summary

The Territory Clinical Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the growth of the assigned territory by delivering exceptional clinical support in the operating room while partnering closely with the Territory Manager to drive new business opportunities.

This position combines clinical case coverage, sales development, customer relationship management, and logistical support to ensure physicians and hospital customers receive outstanding service before, during, and after every procedure.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to advanced surgical procedures while developing the commercial skills necessary to advance into a full-line medical device sales role.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Operating Room Support

  • Provide clinical and technical support during surgical procedures.
  • Attend operating room cases to ensure products, instruments, and implants are available and functioning properly.
  • Assist surgeons and operating room staff with product utilization and procedural support.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of surgical techniques, anatomy, and product applications.
  • Troubleshoot clinical and logistical challenges during procedures while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Sales & Business Development

  • Partner with the Territory Manager to execute territory growth strategies.
  • Build relationships with surgeons, physician offices, nurses, surgical coordinators, and hospital staff.
  • Support customer education programs, physician training events, and product evaluations.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Help drive product adoption throughout the territory, particularly during the upcoming commercial launch.

Inventory & Territory Management

  • Manage inventory levels, instrument sets, implants, and demonstration equipment throughout the territory.
  • Coordinate product deliveries and ensure equipment is available for scheduled procedures.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, expiration dates, and asset utilization.
  • Assist with purchase orders, billing documentation, and case logistics.
  • Maintain CRM activities, sales reports, and customer records.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0–3 years of professional experience, preferably in medical device, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical sales, clinical support, athletics, or another customer-facing environment.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in medical device sales.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a high-performing sales team.
  • Ability to work in hospital and operating room environments.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the Philadelphia territory.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Experience supporting clinicians or working in hospital environments.
  • Operating room exposure is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles, athletics, leadership, or competitive environments.
