Bridgeway Inc. is seeking a passionate and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to join our team and help shape the employee experience—ensuring that our staff have the tools, guidance, and support they need to thrive while serving our community.
The Human Resources Generalist will perform Human Resources (HR) daily functions to include hiring, benefits administration, leave of absence, and support of company policies and procedures. This position will support the areas of HR serving as customer support for training, safety, ensuring all requirements are met.
Summary of Essential Duties:
- Provides recruiting support for designated locations and the hiring manager for open positions.
- Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Conducts preemployment information to include references, extend offers of employment as requested.
- Provides new hire orientation meetings and employee engagement/recognition programs.
- Performs tasks to administer and execute human resource programs to include, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; unemployment; and training development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee performance/conduct meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements and Bridgeway expectations.
- Provides support with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Performs offboarding process and ensures all company assets are allocated.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s degree in human resources or related, or 1-2 years of previous HR experience in lieu of degree preferred.
Must have a valid drivers license

Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
