What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Assistant PRN position at Bridgewater Retirement Community?
The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant is to provide physical therapy treatments to residents/patients under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist to support improved independence, mobility, and quality of life.
Essential Functions:
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accomodation.
- Assist with planning, delivering, and evaluationg activity programs
- Prepare and document individualized Activity Care Plans
- Participate in quarterly care plan reviews
- Help set up and clean up activity spaces
- Transport or assist residents to/from activity locations
- Provide direct support during events and daily programs
- Offer input for improving and expanding program offerings
- Other duties as assigned
