Reviews insurance renewal applications to evaluate, classify, and rate individuals and groups for insurance. Accepts or rejects applications by performing the following duties.
How You Will Contribute
$60,000 - $95,000 Annual

Reviews insurance renewal applications to evaluate, classify, and rate individuals and groups for insurance. Accepts or rejects applications by performing the following duties.
How You Will Contribute
- Review renewal applications to confirm that information is appropriate to determine underwriting actions.
- Determine renewal underwriting actions.
- Accept or decline risks based on own analysis of options.
- Review all risks for new and renewal business for any securities law practice exposure.
- Implement methods for promotion of policies or improvements to processes.
- May train or supervise junior-level assistants.
- Verify complete and proper coding.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Control guidelines.
- Collaborate with Broker regarding unusual coverages.
- Maintain knowledge of all markets available to maximize opportunities to negotiate placements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Exceptional telephone demeanor.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- 3–5 years of industry experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university. (preferred)
- 220 License.(preferred)
- Experience with excess and surplus lines underwriting agency or company a plus (preferred)
