Brown & Brown is Seeking a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Naperville, IL.

Under general supervision of the Profit Center Leader, this individual’s primary responsibility involves customer service duties for Commercial Lines customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production of business.

How You Will Contribute

• Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company and lead
• appropriate resources to address client’s needs, including risk and identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues.
• Responsible for day to day account management of clients accounts.
• Provide customer relations with all levels of client’s decision-makers as well
• as the day-to-day technical client representatives.
• Follow up to address customer needs and resolve their problems/issues.
• Ensure the proper resources from within the organization are involved with
• the customer and introduce new products through the other core business
• groups where appropriate.
• Document sales, prospecting information into the sales management database.
• Prepare customer renewal and new business strategy including proposals and presentations and ensure they agree with customer’s requests/requirements.
• Present proposal to customer ensuring appropriate team members and resources
• are represented/attend.
• Maintain follow-up and suspense file though AMS360 and Image Right, documenting conversation in activities and adhering to all other automation procedures. Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Keep producers and /or management fully informed of important activities on their accounts.
• Remain current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages and technology.
• Remain up to date with current market conditions and status of competition.
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Licenses And Certifications

• Must be a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent.
  
  

Skills & Experience To Be Successful

• Comprehensive knowledge of all commercial lines insurance
• coverages and forms, including issuing of Certificates of Insurance.
• Ability to create and enhance business relationships, must have a friendly,
• outgoing personality with a good work ethic and professional demeanor.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to problem solve and meet deadlines.
  
  

Pay Range

$36.05 - $40.86 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
