Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing our customer base, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring smooth and efficient transactions. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, have hands-on experience in international trade, and be familiar with INCOTERMS, shipping procedures, and the Latin American market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with new and existing clients in Latin America and other international markets.
- Negotiate contracts, manage quotes, and follow up on sales leads, ensuring that all transactions are in compliance with international trade regulations.
- Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of products in line with INCOTERMS.
- Prepare and process orders, including necessary documentation for shipping and customs clearance.
- Work closely with internal teams (logistics, finance, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of shipments and orders.
- Monitor and track market trends, competitor activities, and trade regulations in Latin America to optimize sales strategies.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and professionally.
- Support the development of marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Proven experience in international trade, commodity import/export, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of INCO Terms, shipping procedures, and trade regulations, especially in Latin American markets.
- Ability to think quickly and solve problems in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in documentation and communication.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A business-related degree (International Business, Trade, or similar) or relevant business experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Sales.
- Some experience or understanding of food ingredients.
- Experience working in or with Latin American countries.
- Familiarity with trade finance and payment systems (e.g., letters of credit, trade financing)..
