Trade Specialist – APLA Supply Chain

We are looking for a detail-oriented Trade Specialist to support Free Trade Optimization (FTO) and Customs & Trade Compliance operations across the APLA region. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Rules of Origin, Customs Documentation, Product Classification, Trade Compliance, and Supply Chain Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Free Trade Optimization (FTO) initiatives to drive duty savings and customs compliance

• Analyze product and sourcing data to identify FTA opportunities and trade benefits

• Manage and maintain product attributes and trade-related data accuracy within internal systems

• Assign and validate HTS classifications to support customs compliance and FTA eligibility

• Support compliance audits by reviewing customs documentation and resolving data gaps

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Trade, Product, Sourcing, and Technology teams

• Work closely with customs brokers, factory partners, and global trade teams to ensure compliance alignment

• Assist in maintaining accurate product classification and trade documentation records

• Support operational improvement initiatives related to customs and trade processes

Required Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in:

Customs & Trade Compliance

Supply Chain Operations

International Trade

FTA / Trade Operations

• Strong hands-on expertise in:

Free Trade Agreements (RCEP, CPTPP, AJCEP, etc.)

Rules of Origin

HTS Classification

Customs Documentation

Excel & Data Analysis

Trade Compliance Operations

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or related field required.
