What are the responsibilities and job description for the Artificial Intelligence Engineer position at BrickRed Systems?
We are seeking an experienced Data Science – Agentic AI Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable AI solutions using Agentic AI frameworks and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Agentic Layer A2A frameworks, MCP Protocol, and modern AI/ML engineering practices including vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-driven solutions using Agentic AI frameworks and MCP Protocol
- Build and optimize AI/ML pipelines leveraging vector embeddings and LLM orchestration
- Develop scalable cloud-native applications on Azure Cloud
- Design and manage Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and distributed architectures
- Work with databases including Azure AI Search, Redis, and Cosmos DB
- Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and reliability of AI platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions
Required Skills
- 8 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on AI/ML engineering expertise
- 12 years of experience in Data Science with Agentic Layer A2A frameworks and MCP Protocol
- Strong experience in vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and context engineering
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Python, Java, or Go
- Hands-on experience deploying solutions on Azure Cloud
- Experience with Azure AI Search, Redis, Cosmos DB (Blob Storage and Iceberg are a plus)
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, scalability, and performance tuning
Preferred Skills
- Healthcare domain experience is a plus
- Experience working in enterprise AI transformation projects
