We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. This role requires expertise in various cooking techniques, menu planning, and adherence to food safety standards. The Pizza Cook will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, maintaining inventory levels as needed.
- Assist in menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Handle food safely, following proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests.
- Train new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and kitchen protocols as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the culinary field, particularly in pizza making or fine dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus.
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation techniques.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods.
