- Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff while setting priorities and promoting accountability across the team.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations within QuickBooks Online and ensure transactions are recorded properly.
- Build and maintain detailed Excel-based analyses, schedules, and reporting tools to support budgeting and financial review.
- Monitor internal controls and identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business leadership to evaluate financial results, explain variances, and support planning efforts.
- 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience in the manufacturing industry, including leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated success managing month-end close and producing complete, timely financial statements.
- Strong background in financial reporting and the ability to interpret results for business stakeholders.
- Experience supervising accounting personnel and guiding team performance in a detail-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and advanced capability in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and internal control practices.
