Senior Accountant

We are currently working with several clients in various industries that are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. These companies are based in the Washington, DC area and many of the roles are on a hybrid basis and open to candidates coming out of public accounting as well. The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role would be responsible for preparing the financial statements, maintaining the general ledger accounts, reconciling bank statements, assisting with the month end close process, posting journal entries and assisting with other projects. Daily Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant Include:

• Perform month-end close.
• General ledger maintenance.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Prepare financial statements.

The ideal Senior Accountant we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

• 3 years of accounting experience.
• CPA or pursuing CPA licensure, preferred.
• Experienced with Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
