We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support a busy organization in Vandalia, Ohio. This Long-term Contract opportunity begins on a part-time schedule of approximately 20 to 30 hours per week, with the potential to expand into permanent hours as responsibilities grow. The role is primarily onsite and will focus on project coordination, document handling, vendor outreach, and administrative support for the broader team, including accounting-related tasks that do not require prior accounting experience.

- Review, organize, and upload invoice records into the company system with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prepare, save, and maintain reports and supporting documents in an orderly and accessible format.
- Contact vendors to gather information, clarify outstanding items, and assist with follow-up communication.
- Investigate mismatched or incomplete information, then provide clear updates on findings and next steps.
- Handle data entry, file management, and document scanning to keep records current and easy to retrieve.
- Take initiative on new assignments, adjust to shifting priorities, and keep work moving forward with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in administrative support, office coordination, data entry, or related clerical work.
- Comfortable using basic business software, including Outlook and Excel, for everyday administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage repetitive processes accurately and efficiently.
- Clear communication skills and a habit of keeping stakeholders informed on project status.
- Willingness to ask questions, seek clarification, and learn new procedures quickly.
- Self-directed approach with the flexibility to take on a range of special projects as they arise.
