What You’ll Do
As part of the tax team, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations compliant, efficient, and audit-ready:
- Own and maintain the sales & use tax compliance calendar
- Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns
- Support sales and use tax accruals and reconciliations
- Assist with federal and state income/franchise tax filings
- Conduct tax research to determine proper treatment of transactions
- Manage and respond to state tax notices
- Prepare and submit state tax registrations
- Partner with internal teams to gather documentation for audits and filings
- Support state and local tax audits, including responding to documentation requests
- Assist in preparing quarterly estimated tax payments
- Contribute to special projects across tax compliance, planning, and process improvement
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–3 years of indirect tax experience
- Hands-on experience with multi-state sales and use tax compliance
- Familiarity with state income tax compliance and apportionment
- Experience working with ERP systems (Sage 100 is a plus)
- Exposure to Avalara preferred
- Strong Excel skills and overall MS Office proficiency
- Ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
