How you'll contribute
A Director of Finance who excels in this role:
- Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

- Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives.
- Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
- Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, ensuring the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
- Coordinates and directs internal and external audits.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Ensures the department stays focused on its important role in the continuum of care.
- Exhibits regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Desired candidate will exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work to ensure quality standards.
- Responsible for hiring, training, developing, reviewing performance, administering corrective action, and terminating staff.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
Skills & Experience
