We’re currently seeking a driven and skilled Level 1 Help Desk Technician with previous MSP help desk experience to join our in-office team in Oconomowoc, WI. What You’ll Do
As a Level 1 IT Support Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues. You’ll provide remote and in-person support, ticket resolution, and escalation when needed. Your role is crucial to ensuring the efficiency and satisfaction of our client base.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 support for desktop, laptop, printer, network, and server issues
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Office 365, and line-of-business applications
- Handle user account creation, password resets, and access management in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Respond to client requests via phone, ticketing system, and email
- Maintain accurate documentation of tickets and solutions in PSA/RMM systems
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level technicians
- Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced MSP environment
Requirements:
MUST HAVE previous MSP or IT services help desk experience
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
- Familiarity with RMM/PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, N-able, etc.)
- Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP, and common business applications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation and ability to work full-time ONSITE in Oconomowoc, WI
Preferred (Not Required):
- A or Network certification
- Knowledge of HaloPSA, NinjaOne, ConnectWise Manage, Datto RMM, or similar tools
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools, backup solutions, and firewall configurations
