Breakthrough ABA is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance and Training to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our clinical quality and training systems across the organization.
This role is ideal for an experienced BCBA who is passionate about clinical excellence, mentorship, systems development, and scalable quality assurance practices within a growing ABA organization. The Director of Quality Assurance and Training plays a key role in supporting clinical consistency, operational scalability, and continuous quality improvement across the company.
This is a full-time leadership position reporting directly to the CEO. Preference will be given to local/in-person candidates, though remote candidates may be considered for the right fit.
What You'll Do:
Clinical Quality Assurance
During the initial phase of the role, this position will maintain a limited clinical caseload with approximately 20 billable hours per week split between direct clinical support and quality assurance-related responsibilities. As the organization grows, caseload expectations may evolve to allow increased focus on QA and training initiatives.

What You'll Do:
Clinical Quality Assurance
- Oversee organization-wide clinical documentation quality and audit processes
- Identify documentation trends, quality concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide coaching and feedback to BCBAs and RBTs regarding documentation and clinical quality standards
- Develop and maintain QA workflows, systems, and standards
- Conduct ongoing client quality reviews
- Evaluate clinical programming, treatment plan alignment, supervision quality, parent training progress, and client outcomes
- Provide actionable feedback and support to clinical staff
- Track follow-through and quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain training resources for BCBAs and RBTs
- Support ongoing staff development aligned with compliance standards, clinical best practices, and organizational goals
- Assist with onboarding support and training for newly hired BCBAs
- Identify organization-wide training needs based on audit findings and analytics
- Monitor clinical analytics and red-flag indicators within Rethink
- Support continuous quality improvement efforts and compliance initiatives
- Assist with policy and procedure development
- Partner with leadership on departmental growth, scalability, and quality initiatives

Qualifications
Required
- BCBA certification in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a BCBA
- Active Texas LBA or ability to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or quality assurance experience
- Experience with clinical documentation quality, compliance, and insurance requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ABA software platforms such as Rethink and Brellium preferred
- Experience in a multi-clinician ABA setting
- Experience building QA systems or training programs
- Experience developing clinical training content
- Knowledge of BACB ethics and audit processes

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
