We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a IHA Supervisor. Essential Functions:
- Conducts orientation and training for new CNAs.
- Supervises and evaluates staff performance in collaboration with the IHA Administrator.
- Documents disciplinary actions and resolves employee relations issues.
- Ensures staff compliance with company policies, regulations, and mandatory training.
- Maintains appropriate staffing levels, adjusting schedules as necessary.
- Conducts home visits to monitor care quality and compliance.
- Reviews documentation to ensure regulatory and policy adherence.
- Investigates and resolves issues affecting client care.
- Participates in regulatory inspections and company committees.
- Maintains confidentiality of resident and company information.
- Supports operational needs, including covering staffing shortages when necessary.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company dress code.
This role is an essential part of the team and therefore, must participate in emergency operational protocol.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in home care, long-term care, or a related field.
- Understanding of geriatric care needs and regulatory requirements.
