What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Bravia Services?
Job Title: QA/QC Technician
Location: Lebanon, IN
Duration: 6 Months Contract
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years minimum experience industrial electrical quality control
- Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical installations
- Ability to work from ladders, aerial lifts and scaffolding if needed
- Ability to work long shifts (10-12 hours) and 6-7 days per week.
- Strong technical computer knowledge (Microsoft excel, word, Autodesk, etc.)
- OSHA 10 in construction
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform quality inspections of new electrical installations to include but not limited to the following:
- Cable tray installations
- Ceiling supports for cable tray
- Building grounding systems
- Cable pulls and terminations
- Gear installations
- Pre-energization quality checks
- Conduit installations
- Equipment labeling
- Device installation and terminations
- Fire alarm installations
- Access areas of work using ladders, stairs, scaffolds, aerial lifts and entering excavations
- Document inspections using phone and iPad to take photos and complete quality control inspection forms
- Communicate with installation crews to correct quality deficiencies that are discovered during the installation process
- Communicate with the general contractor as directed by the Project Quality Control Manager
