We are currently hiring for an Accounts Receivable Clerk.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hotel Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible group billing, tracking payments, and resolving any billing issues. The ideal candidate will have a background in billing and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of hotel front desk operations and cashiering very helpful.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in accounts receivable or a similar financial role
- Experience in accounting software and Microsoft Excel helpful. Extensive use of ORACLE Opera software, MS Word and Excel.
- Resort hotel experience, especially in front desk, catering, and cashiering desired.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices to guests in a timely manner
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Work with a high degree accuracy.
- Assist with financial reporting and month-end closing processes
- Communicate with customers and resort staff to address billing inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and efficient financial transactions
