Position Overview
Brascia Builders, Inc. is seeking a skilled full-time Rough/Finish Carpenter to join our team in the Construction industry. As a Rough/Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for completing various carpentry tasks to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. From framing and installing windows to trim work and finish carpentry, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality structures that meet the needs of our clients.
Location:
- Ventura, CA (Required)
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
- Wood/metal stud framing; mud/tape repair
- Collaborate with the project team to interpret blueprints and specifications
- Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure precise construction
- Install doors, windows, and framework according to project requirements
- Construct and repair structures using hand and power tools
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks, including trim work and molding installation
- Minor tile repair
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to coordinate tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Rough/Finish Carpenter: 5 years (Required)
- Proven experience as a Rough/Finish Carpenter in the Construction industry
- Solid understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Proficient knowledge of tools, including hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
