Position Overview
Brascia Builders, Inc. is seeking a full-time reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, preparing job sites, operating basic tools and machinery, and supporting skilled tradespeople. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and a willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed outdoors and may involve exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
- May require early morning or weekend shifts depending on project needs.
- Load and unload construction materials and move them to work areas.
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazards.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
- Operate hand and power tools as directed.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear at all times.
- Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled workers.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or manual labor is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
