Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Property Accountant located in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA, with flexibility for a hybrid remote schedule.
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· AP/AR
· General ledger and adjusting journal entries
· Bank deposits and reconciliations
· Financial reports
· Annual Excel budget preparation
· Full cycle bookkeeping & accounting responsibilities
· Property financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting
Skills & Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
· Minimum 2 years experience in accounting (required)
· Experience in Property Management accounting (preferred)
· Experience in the application and usage of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
· Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills needed to complete work efficiently and to meet workflow deadlines
· Strong communication skills
· Attention to detail and accuracy with ability to research topics independently
· Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe
· Experience with Rent Manager or similar software (preferred)
