MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
HOURLY RATE: $20.34
12 MONTH EMPLOYEE; 8 HOUR DAYS (OT ROTATION)
Description:
Brandywine Community Schools is seeking a Maintenance Technician. Our ideal candidate would be a team player working directly with the maintenance team to complete the building and grounds requests and needs. They would also be willing to fill in for our custodial department as needed. Candidates must have the basic maintenance mechanical know-how, must be hard-working, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude. This person must be able to develop a positive rapport with staff, students, and community members.
QUALIFICATIONS
▪ High School Graduate
▪ Valid driver’s license
▪ Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
▪ Ability to work from ladders, personnel lifts and scaffolding up to 50’ high
▪ Ability to communicate verbally and electronically with directions and instructions
▪ Ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently
▪ Ability to work as a team with others
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
▪ Candidate must agree to authorize Brandywine Community Schools to conduct a criminal history search via fingerprinting
