What are the responsibilities and job description for the Growth Marketing Lead position at BrainWorks?
Growth Marketing Lead
West Palm Beach / South Florida (Onsite)
Type - Full-time
SALARY: $96,500K - $112,500 base salary
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Growth Marketing Lead for a full-time onsite role based in South Florida. This is not a traditional marketing leadership role. We’re looking for a hands-on, execution-driven builder who can create early traction from the ground up — someone who brings ideas, tests quickly, and drives results without waiting for perfect conditions or heavy direction. You’ll work directly with leadership to turn product readiness into real user adoption and engagement. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll be expected to take initiative, make decisions, and push work forward independently.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and execute a clear GTM plan — defining priorities, sequencing initiatives, and focusing on what will drive traction fastest
- Make decisive channel bets — identify what matters first (SEO, paid media, Google Tag Manager, local channels, partnerships, etc.) and avoid spreading efforts too thin
- Drive direct traction generation across:
- Users (acquisition activation)
- Partnerships (e.g., psychologists, referral sources, strategic partners)
- Testimonials and proof points to build credibility early
- Own end-to-end execution — launch campaigns, partnerships, outreach, and experiments with minimal oversight
- Move with speed and urgency — test quickly, iterate, and double down on what works
- Build early-stage brand presence — establish positioning, messaging, and credibility through content, partnerships, PR, and proof points (not just “awareness,” but trust and conversion)
- Operate across channels (paid, partnerships, outbound, content, PR) while maintaining clear prioritization
- Be highly hands-on in execution — including campaigns, outreach, and light creative work when needed
- Implement automation and scale systems — build repeatable workflows for outreach, follow-ups, and campaign execution (SaaS growth mindset)
- Work with agencies and vendors when needed, but own outcomes and performance directly
- Use data to drive decisions — analyze funnel performance (CAC, conversion rates, activation, retention), channel ROI, and campaign performance to continuously refine strategy
- Continuously evaluate performance and refocus efforts on highest-impact initiatives
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 90 DAYS)
- Users actively engaging with the platform
- Early partnerships and credibility signals established
- Multiple channels tested and driving measurable traction
- Clear momentum and direction for scaling growth
WHO YOU ARE
- You are a true self-starter — you bring ideas and act on them without waiting for direction
- You are comfortable operating with full ownership and limited structure
- You move quickly and don’t get blocked by imperfect conditions
- You have a track record of driving real outcomes (users, growth, traction)
- You are both strategic and highly hands-on — you can think and execute
- You are willing to do the work yourself when needed to keep momentum (campaigns, outreach, light creative edits, etc.)
- You are comfortable working directly in core tools — launching and managing paid campaigns (Google/Meta), reviewing performance (Google Analytics), and driving outreach or pipelines through CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar)
- You can make quick creative updates yourself using tools like Photoshop, Figma, or Canva
- You understand how to use tools and automation to move faster (e.g., outreach workflows, follow-ups, campaign execution)
- You prioritize action and results over process — you create momentum, not just manage it
REQUIREMENTS
- 5–8 years of experience in growth marketing, SaaS marketing, or demand generation roles
- Proven ability to build and execute GTM strategies — including clear prioritization and sequencing of initiatives
- Demonstrated experience making decisive channel investments (SEO, paid media, partnerships, local growth, etc.) and driving results from them
- Track record of driving real traction — users, partnerships, and/or early-stage credibility (testimonials, case studies, etc.)
- Experience contributing to or building brand presence in early-stage environments — messaging, positioning, and credibility that supports growth
- Strong bias for speed, urgency, and execution — ability to move quickly and adapt in ambiguous environments
- Hands-on experience with paid channels (Google, Meta), analytics (Google Analytics or similar), and tracking/tagging (e.g., Google Tag Manager)
- Ability to analyze and act on growth metrics, including:
- Funnel conversion rates (visit → signup → activation)
- Customer acquisition cost (CAC) and channel efficiency
- Retention and engagement metrics
- A/B testing and campaign performance insights
- Experience building or leveraging automation to scale growth efforts (CRM workflows, outbound sequencing, campaign automation, etc.)
- Comfortable working independently with full ownership in a 0→1 or early-stage environment
- Ability to balance strategy execution — you can define the plan and do the work
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience in AI-driven, SaaS, or consumer technology products strongly preferred, particularly in early-stage environments
- Comfortable using automation tools to scale outreach, follow-ups, and campaign execution without adding manual overhead
