We use a combination of physical, sensory, and cognitive activities, along with nutritional support, to build stronger pathways in the brain.

Job Description:

Program Directors at Brain Balance are pivotal to our organizational success. Reporting to the Center Director (CD), the Program Director is an in-center position designed to oversee sensory, motor, and cognitive programs. The ideal Program Director will be an authority on customer service, program knowledge, and possess strong mentoring and coaching skills. They will oversee program outcomes and develop a key relationship with the parent or guardian of the student. Regular delivery of the student’s progress to the parent, guardian or participant will be a pivotal role for relationship building that drives referral business. Based on the program data points, they will monitor and adjust the program as necessary.


Program Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitating significant positive change in the lives of students aged 4 to adult.
  • Oversee center coaching staff, including training and program support.
  • Conduct welcome, progress, mastery, and re-enrollment meetings.
  • Support the Center/Enrollment Director in managing all aspects of client services and support.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in all phases of the sensory, motor, and cognitive programs.
  • Utilize best-in-class onsite and online training to develop the center coaching staff.
  • Manage the implementation of program updates and modifications.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor that fosters excitement and enthusiasm.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings with the coaching staff to address high-priority topics, student program concerns or achievements, and individualized student plans.


Successful Program Directors typically possess:

  • A degree in business administration or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in management or coaching-related fields.
  • Proficiency in analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strong competencies in self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.
  • Possess profound empathy and understanding for students, especially those facing developmental challenges such as ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, or other special needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish rapport, engage, and inspire children while effectively managing and redirecting off-task behaviors.
  • A demonstrable commitment to the care and well-being of children.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to ensuring a memorable experience for students at Brain Balance.
  • The ability to maintain focus and effectiveness in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Physical Demands:

  • This position necessitates walking, standing, bending, stooping, jumping, stretching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
