Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Braeside Community Management is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented person to join our team as full-time Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Accountant. Located in Deerfield, Braeside manages condominium/homeowners associations. 

The ideal candidate will have accounts payable/receivable experience, preferably in the Real Estate/ Property Management Industry. 

Role:

·               Responsible for processing association invoices which includes analyzing invoices to determine property and account it should be applied to based on the property budget.

·               Ensures efficient and accurate processing, controls and reconciliation of Association payables.

·               Process all vendor invoices. Includes entering into Vantaca software, submitting for approval, cutting checks or processing payments by ACH.

·               Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

·               Process check runs in coordination with Comptroller and authorized check signers.

·               Monthly bank account reconciliation.

·               Work with remote deposit banking system and manual bank deposits.

·               Assist the accounting manager in preparation of monthly financial statements and other duties as needed.

·               Process year-end 1099 forms.

·               Assist with processing payroll.

Qualifications:

·               Ability to track budget expenses and analyze information.

·               Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages, and analyze them.

·               Excellent Organization skills with strong attention to detail.

·               The ability to exercise judgment and the utmost discretion, meet deadlines and manage competing demands.

·               Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

·               Excellent time management and organizational skills.

·               Ability to work with multiple properties and property managers.

·               The aptitude to work independently.

·               Computer Skills: Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

·               Proficiency with computer and data entry skills.
