Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects and operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing operations, establishing processes and structure, fostering integrations, driving improvement & creating actionable plans and priorities for the organization. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and expertise in various project management methodologies and internal system operation infrastructure. The Business/Project Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning project objectives with organizational goals while maintaining awareness to industry trends and projections.
Duties
- Work closely with the leadership team to manage operations, marketing, sales, and integrators.
- Lead, manage, and hold team accountable to ensure the company's success and execution of business plan.
- Lead end-to-end project management activities including requirements gathering, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using methodologies.
- Develop detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of service & projects, including electrical solutions, repairs and projects, low voltage security & communication installations , and IT infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage project scope changes through effective negotiation and communication with customers & teammates.
- Assist and oversee the creation and execution of internal systems to assist with project tracking, implementation, customer communications, change orders, and profitability/goal targets.
- Track project progress using project management software; prepare status reports for leadership team.
- Facilitate program management activities including release management, project implementation, and program coordination across multiple teams.
- Conduct analysis of project data using SQL, Oracle databases, and other tools to inform decision-making.
- Support organizational initiatives related to IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Promote best practices in SDLC processes and test-driven development to improve quality assurance efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within enterprise software environments; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile (Scrum), SAFe, Waterfall; familiarity with PMBOK standards.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Jira, VersionOne, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high organizational standards.
- Ability to manage and oversee multiple divisions within the company: including sales, marketing, operations, front office management teams, and finance. Ensuring all aspects of the team are working together harmoniously.
- Strong analysis skills for requirements gathering and process improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of user acceptance testing processes and release management strategies is highly desirable.
