Part Time School Year Position ⢠Ideal for college students (18 preferred)
No nights, no weekends. Daily Hours 2:30pm -6pm Monday thru Friday

The Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield is looking for a positive, responsible, and energetic Teen Program Leader to work directly with teen Club members.

đ Position Summary
Teen Program Leaders provide daily support, structure, and programming for teens at the Club. Youâll help create a welcoming environment, lead activities, encourage participation, support behavior management, and help keep the Club running smoothly. You will also collaborate with volunteers, staff, and leadership to support the overall mission of the Boys & Girls Club.
Applicants 18yrs and older are preferred due to the level of responsibility and independent supervision required.
đĄ What Youâll Do
- Plan & lead daily, weekly, and special-event activities designed to engage teens
- Promote participation and motivate teens to get involved in programs
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Assist with and recruit new teen members
- Ensure programs run daily as scheduled
- Maintain appropriate participation levels for each activity
- Ensure all programs are safe, meaningful, and age-appropriate
- Enforce discipline policies and support positive behavior management
- Provide guidance and serve as a strong role model for teen members
- Monitor safety and behavior throughout program areas
- Track participation numbers for all activities
- Assist with outcome data collection and time-tracking
- Encourage fellow staff to meet program goals and outcomes
- Build positive relationships with teens and families from diverse backgrounds
- Attend staff meetings, evaluations, and required training
- Participate in special events and field trips
- Complete tasks assigned by the Director or Assistant Director
- Occasionally sit in on parent meetings as needed
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped program area
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive Club environment for all members
â Qualifications
- Must be 18Yrs oldÂ
- Ability to be trained in First Aid/CPR
- Degree or currently pursuing a degree in education, human services, social sciences, recreation, or a related field (or strong experience working with youth)
- Prior experience working with teens/youth is preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with teens and families from diverse backgrounds
- Courteous, professional, and able to maintain positive working relationships with staff, members, and families
- Ability to motivate teens and address behavior challenges appropriately
- Comfortable working with the general public
- Able to organize and supervise teen members in a safe and structured environment
- Must be able to pass a reference check and background check
