Seasonal Summer Camp Director (Lindsey Center)
Position Title: Seasonal Camp Director
Organization: Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia (BGCCG)
Employment Type: Seasonal / Temporary
Onboarding & Training: Required, paid onboarding in May
Camp Dates: June 1 – July 17
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Location: Assigned Lindsey Center
Position Overview

Lead and manage daily summer camp operations at a BGCCG site

Begin employment with paid onboarding and training in May

Assume full responsibility for camp operations during the summer program

Ensure a safe, engaging, and high-quality experience for all youth
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily camp programming and schedules
-
Supervise, coach, and support seasonal camp staff
-
Ensure youth safety and enforce BGCCG child safety policies
-
Monitor attendance, behavior management, and supervision ratios

Complete incident reports and required documentation
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians

Coordinate meals, activities, and site logistics

Communicate regularly with BGCCG leadership
Qualifications

Minimum age of 21

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

2–3 years of experience working with youth in a camp, school, or out-of-school setting
-
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
-
CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to camp start)
-
Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and child safety clearances
