What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Sales Coordinator | Full Time Year Round position at Boyne Resorts?
The Group Sales Coordinator (GSC) is responsible for the assistance in coordination of, but not limited to, Day Groups, Corporate Events, International and Local Schools and Weddings, both in advance, while the group is on site and after their events have concluded. The GSC serves as a contact/liaison between the Customer and Loon Mountain and must effectively communicate to all departments the information necessary to successfully execute the Group’s needs while maintaining a good Client relationship.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but are not limited to):
- Coordinate alongside Manager- All Day Groups (Summer and Winter), International Groups, Corporate Boardrooms, Motorcoaches, Youth Groups, Weddings and more.
- Taking calls, tracking leads, processing deposits, create bookings and Group follow ups.
- Ticketing- Printing/Returns, updating Invoices and sending to Groups and internally.
- Inputting Sales Data into platforms such as P&A, AMADEUS and RTP to track Sales.
- Work with Loon Departments and outside Vendors to make necessary arrangements for all Groups.
- Assist with servicing Local Lodging Ticket Program and Corporate Sales Program.
- Attend and participate in Sales Meetings on a regular basis and take minutes as requested.
- Attend Ski Shows upon request.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Ability to drive a Loon vehicle.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
- Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Boyne Resort Guests at all times.
- Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
- Report accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
- Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.
- Drive in accordance with the law and Boyne Resort policies.
