Responsibilities
As a Fine Dining Server at Big Sky Resort, you will:
- Provide elevated table service while creating warm, genuine connections with guests
- Demonstrate clear, confident communication to guide guests through menu offerings, wine pairings, and recommendations
- Facilitate smooth pacing and table turnover with attention to timing and precision
- Follow established service procedures, including order entry, food running, cash handling, and guest recovery
- Support the entire front-of-house team by stepping into support roles when needed to maintain seamless service
- Share insightful knowledge of Big Sky Resort and the surrounding area to enrich the guest experience
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization across the dining area
- Uphold Boyne Standards and Boyne Basics as part of delivering a world-class dining experience
Qualifications
Recipe for Success:
- Minimum of 1 year of restaurant serving experience (fine dining preferred)
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable moments
- Strong interest or knowledge in wine, craft cocktails, and elevated cuisine
- Calm, professional demeanor and team-first attitude
- Strong multitasking skills with a focus on service flow and attention to detail
- Commitment to cleanliness and safe work practices
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, push or pull at least 35 pounds
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
- Must be able to carry a full tray with either hand
