Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server / bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. As a Server &/or Bartender, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, maintaining the beauty and organization of the restaurant & bar, and providing exceptional service in a fine dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Learn all Food menus, Wine menus, and beverage offerings with proficiency
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit, performing a Fine Dining service upholding Forbs hospitality standards
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests
- Operate Toast point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately
- Collaborate with Management & BOH staff to promote and to ensure seamless services
- Stay updated on dining trends, new products, and menu offerings to enhance customer experience
Qualifications
- Proficiency in mixing classic and our specialty cocktails in a high-volume environment
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining restaurant or a cocktail bar
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations
- Familiarity with Toast POS point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
