Responsibilities
The Front of the House Supervisor's typical job functions include:
- Assisting with scheduling, daily staffing levels, payroll, inventory, etc.
- Ensuring cleanliness of restaurant, including service stations and banquet areas along with maintaining clean, neat, and well-organized work areas
- Taking appropriate action on any complaint or problem to ensure guest satisfaction
- Working closely with Avalanche Bay staff and other departments to properly plan and coordinate events in waterpark and restaurant needing food and beverage service
- Maintaining awareness in relation to accident prevention and safety
- Looking for new methods, techniques, equipment, and material that will improve the overall efficiency and/or quality of the restaurant
This position may for you if:
- You are at least 18 years old and available to work nights, weekends and holidays
- You possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- You have previous supervisory experience preferred
- You have experience with point of sale software and Microsoft products such as Word and Excel preferred
- You possess strong leadership, organizational and guest relation skills; extensive knowledge of all positions in a restaurant setting
