The Marketing and Communications Specialist manages a company's brand voice and promotional strategies to drive engagement, handling content creation, social media, graphic design, and brand management. This role is a hybrid position responsible for developing marketing strategies, crafting compelling content, and designing high-quality visual assets for print, digital, and social platforms. Serving as a visible brand ambassador, the specialist collaborates cross-functionally to deliver consistent, high-impact experiences, supporting both our marketing and communications leaders.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Design and produce marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, banners, internal templates, digital assets, advertisements, and signage, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
- Prepare files for print production and manage relationships with external vendors.
- Manage social media platforms and websites, including content creation and scheduling, monitoring engagement, and creating lead campaigns.
- Collaborate with recruitment and talent teams to support campaigns and events.
- Define success metrics, track performance, and analyze ROI across events and campaigns.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Must provide a portfolio/samples of graphic design work
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or other graphic design suites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Canva, web CMS (e.g., WordPress), and email marketing platforms
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices
- Photography or videography skills
- Foundational understanding of experiential marketing, brand activations, and grassroots marketing strategies.
- Proven on-site leadership skills, including managing vendors and live-event execution.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Experience tracking performance metrics, analyzing ROI, and delivering post-event recaps and insights.
- Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems proactively, and maintain consistency under pressure.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in events, brand activations, experiential marketing, or graphic design.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
