Location: Whittier, CA
Salary: $115,000 - $125,000
OVERVIEW
We are a well-established Managed Services Provider hiring a Senior Azure Administrator to serve as a high-level technical resource across Microsoft cloud, servers, networking, security, and project work.
This role is ideal for an experienced MSP engineer who enjoys solving complex technical issues, supporting multiple client environments, mentoring junior technicians, and contributing to project delivery. You will handle escalations that require deeper troubleshooting while helping improve documentation, technical standards, and long-term client stability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Resolve complex escalations involving Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, firewalls, and security
- Investigate outages, performance problems, service failures, and security-related incidents
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments
- Troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless, DNS, DHCP, and firewall connectivity
- Support SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco, or similar firewall platforms
- Assist with Microsoft 365 changes, user migrations, server deployments, network upgrades, and client rollouts
- Review escalated tickets and help Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians improve their troubleshooting
- Validate completed project work and resolve post-deployment issues
- Identify recurring service problems and recommend permanent fixes
- Maintain clear client documentation, technical notes, and resolution details
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 2 years of technical experience working for a Managed Service Provider
- Strong experience supporting multiple client environments
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across Microsoft cloud, servers, networking, and security
- Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Hands-on Azure administration and troubleshooting experience
- Strong networking knowledge including VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco, or comparable firewall platforms
- Experience resolving Tier 3 escalations, outages, and high-priority client issues
- Ability to mentor junior technicians and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Strong client communication, documentation, and follow-through
