Azure Cloud Systems Administrator (MSP)
Houston, TX | $90,000 - $110,000 Bonus Growth Opportunity

We're partnering with a fast-growing Managed Service Provider and Microsoft/Google Cloud partner that's helping businesses modernize their IT infrastructure through cloud, security, and managed services. Their engineers work in highly collaborative environments where they're trusted to solve problems, lead projects, and build long-term relationships with clients—not just react to support requests.

You'll serve as the primary technical resource for one of the company's largest clients (500 users), working alongside an onsite Level 1 Engineer while owning the overall health, security, and performance of the environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary Systems Administrator for a 500 user client environment.
- Troubleshoot and administer Windows servers, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and endpoint infrastructure.
- Manage Azure environments with a focus on security, compliance, and optimization.
- Administer Intune for device deployments, patch management, endpoint security, and lifecycle management.
- Handle Tier 2/3 escalations while mentoring an onsite Level 1 Engineer.
- Lead infrastructure, cloud, and security-related projects from planning through implementation.
- Build trusted relationships with client leadership and act as their primary technical advisor.
- Continuously recommend improvements to enhance security, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of MSP experience.
- Strong Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Hands-on Azure administration and cloud support experience.
- Experience with Intune, Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint management.
- Comfortable handling escalated support while leading small to mid-sized infrastructure projects.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.
Why This Opportunity?
- $90,000 - $110,000 base salary
- Performance Bonus Opportunities
- Dedicated client environment (500 users)
- Opportunity to own an environment rather than simply work tickets
- Exposure to Azure, Microsoft cloud technologies, security, and infrastructure projects
- Clear career growth within a rapidly growing cloud-focused MSP
- Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
- 401(k) with Company Match
- Paid Time Off
- Parental Leave
If you're looking for a role where you can combine systems administration, cloud technologies, project work, and trusted client relationships while continuing to grow your engineering career, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step.
