ROLE OVERVIEW
Maintain the cleanroom-grade temperature, humidity, and air quality environment essential to PV cell production, overseeing refrigeration, ventilation, dehumidification, and automated control systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and maintain cleanroom HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and dehumidification systems
- Monitor and adjust automatic control systems to maintain cleanroom specifications
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC system faults to minimize production impact
- Identify and implement energy-saving improvements
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics and CAD drawings
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and technical documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical, HVAC, or related engineering field
- 3 years of experience with industrial/cleanroom HVAC systems (semiconductor or solar manufacturing preferred)
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA-based building control systems
- Strong fault diagnosis and technical documentation skills
- Refrigeration certification a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout cleanroom and mechanical areas for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb ladders and access rooftop units, ductwork, and elevated mechanical equipment
- Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (mechanical rooms, rooftops, cleanrooms)
- Ability to wear required cleanroom garments and PPE for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for tool use and equipment repair in confined spaces
