ROLE OVERVIEW
Support the engineering team across electrical, gasification, HVAC, and water treatment systems — an excellent entry point for engineers ready to grow within solar manufacturing facility operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist senior engineers with preventive maintenance planning and execution across all facility systems
- Support fault diagnosis and repair activities on electrical, gas, HVAC, and water treatment equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, technical documentation, and work orders
- Assist in reading and interpreting schematics, P&IDs, and CAD drawings
- Help enforce safety procedures and hazardous-material handling protocols
- Respond to maintenance requests and support emergency repairs as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or higher in an engineering-related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 1 year of experience in industrial facility maintenance or a related trade
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, or chemical systems
- Willingness to learn PLC, SCADA, or building control systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation habits
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and move throughout the production and utility areas for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights or in confined spaces with proper PPE
- Ability to wear required PPE, including cleanroom garments and chemical/electrical protective gear, for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for tool use and equipment assembly/repair
- Ability to respond quickly to maintenance calls across the facility
