Heavy Construction company located in East Setauket, LI seeks experienced, well organized individual to handle high volume accounts payable. Full-time position.
Duties:
* Maintains subsidiary accounts by verification thru purchase order system, job allocating, and posting transactions. 3 way match
* Process weekly vendor payments. Tracking of subcontractor agreements, riders and insurance.
* Determine taxable sales from non-taxable sales.
* Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
* Prepares account analysis by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Good communication skills with vendors and project managers required.
Microsoft Office experience necessary. Strong Excel required.
Sage Timberline 300 and Procore helpful, but not necessary.
Ability to Analyze Information , Deal with Complexity, Report Research Results, have accurate Data Entry Skills, pays Attention to Details, Maintain Confidentiality and the ability to Multi-Task.
