One of the Midwest’s most trusted travel agencies is hiring a Vice President of Vacation Sales to lead and grow its leisure travel division. This role will operate out of the St. Louis, MO office. This leader will develop sales strategy, strengthen vendor relationships, elevate team performance, and ensure continued delivery of exceptional, memorable experiences for every client. You will shape the vision for the vacation business, champion a service-first culture, and mentor a passionate team of advisors dedicated to delighting travelers.

Vice President Of Vacation Sales Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 7 travel advisors and approximately 40 department members
- Develop and execute growth strategies to drive sales and profitability in the Vacation division
- Strengthen supplier/vendor partnerships to maximize value for clients and the agency
- Collaborate with marketing to support targeted campaigns and new business opportunities
- Oversee staffing, hiring, onboarding, and development of the sales team
- Monitor sales performance, adjust objectives, and ensure accountability toward goals
- Maintain a high standard of service by modeling professionalism and responsiveness
- Help elevate the brand's reputation through client relationships and industry engagement
- 3 years of leadership experience in leisure/vacation travel sales
- Prior success managing and developing a sales team
- Strong understanding of consumer travel trends and supplier landscape
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Outlook with high comfort in tech-forward environments
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Proven ability to deliver results and inspire others
- High school diploma required; equivalent experience strongly considered
- Experience with travel CRM or booking platforms preferred
