Plant Operator Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair Cat 3520 engines that generate power from methane
- Perform regular site checks and readings, including weekend inspections
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and snow removal
- Respond to on-call situations and emergencies outside normal business hours
- Potentially travel to other plant locations for major maintenance projects
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties
- Ability to live within an hour's drive of the plant for on-call response
- Experience working on engines, preferably similar to the Cat 3520 engines is preferred
- Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting and 480V systems is preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle various maintenance tasks is preferred
