Inside Sales/Operations Support Responsibilities
- Partner with other departments to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and file claims accurately and promptly
- Manage the shipping process for clients, ensuring billing accuracy and timely communication about changes
- Maintain existing key account relationships, providing solutions based on shipping patterns and needs
- Address issues such as missed pickups, late deliveries, damaged freight, or incorrect billing
- Proactively communicate any issues to clients
- Coordinate daily shipments through phone, email, and FreightEx's TMS system McLeod
- Ensure billing accuracy and timely client notifications regarding changes
- 1-2 years of customer service, operations, or inside sales experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, supply chain, transportation, or logistics
- Experience with billing, documentation, and order tracking
- Experience in customer-facing roles with regular communication via phone and email
- Ability to remain calm under pressure with strong business acumen
- Knowledge of relevant modes of transportation
- Desire to learn and progress within the company, demonstrating passion and accountability
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and urgency in responsiveness
- Experience on the carrier side is preferred
- Sales background or mindset is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
