Field Technician

Position Title: Field Service Technician - Newark, NJ

The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of the company's water instrumentation. This position involves routine maintenance, including disassembling, cleaning, and calibrating analyzers and instruments at customer sites. Technicians will also troubleshoot both company products and some third-party instruments, requiring strong customer interaction skills. The role demands travel, with varying levels based on territory, and technicians should be prepared for a mix of overnight stays. Successful candidates will contribute to the company's growth while developing their technical expertise in instrumentation.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on water instrumentation
• Disassemble, clean, and calibrate analyzers and instruments
• Troubleshoot company products and third-party instruments
• Interact with customers to provide service and support
• Manage travel schedules and logistics for customer site visits
• Complete service reports and documentation
  
  

Field Service Technician Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of field experience
• At least 2 years of customer service experience
• Instrumentation calibration experience with a variety of instruments is required
• Willingness to travel frequently
• Field service experience is preferred
